Party Rentals – How to select the RIGHT party rental vendor for your next event.
Whether you choose Elite Event Services or another special event company for your next event, be sure to ask the right questions and get the right answers! Not all party rental vendors are created equal and the behind the scenes items can make all the difference in choosing your next party rentals.
Here are a few items to consider:
- Do they have a contract to guarantee that they must show up and that they must bring the party rental equipment you have ordered?
- What is their safety record? How many major incidents/accidents have they had and what were they?
- Are they insured? Is their insurance with a reputable A rated U.S. insurance company? Will they add you or your venue as an additionally insured, if needed?
- What is the condition of their their party rentals? Are they clean, fresh smelling and are not ripped, torn or full of debris?
- Are the inflatables of commercial quality therefore guaranteeing they meet minimum safety standards?
- What are their policies for customer service, their standards for appearance, and their training procedures for their employees?
- Do they have a business license registered with the state?
- Do they comply with all local and state inspection requirements?
- Are they a member of the BBB and what do their reviews have to say?
- Do they address proper set-up?
- Inflatables must be staked or weighted properly. If your provider does not address these issues you are putting yourself, your children and your guests at serious risk.
- Have they discussed power and space needs with you? Insufficient power may cause the unit to deflate and cause injury or accidents.
- Make sure the inflatable vendor includes a written guideline of all the rules, safety standards, wind limits, and weighting requirements.
