Hosting A Safe Fall Event

Bonfires, cozy sweaters, pumpkin spice and the delicious smells of fall are almost here!  The fall season brings back memories of bright orange pumpkins, caramel apples, and sitting by a warm fire.  Even though this year might look a little different, all these memories can be re-created by adding in a few options to make sure everyone stays safe this fall season.

Sweet Treats:

Delicious food is a yummy addition to events, but will require more planning in the age of “social distancing”.  Caramel Apples and Hot Apple Cider are fall favorites that are sure to please your guests!  A few safety items for food service are gloves, masks, and sanitizing stations!  Make sure your catering staff is wearing masks and gloves, the food area has plenty of sanitizing stations, and ensure all guests maintain 6 ft apart while in line.

Arts & Crafts:

Everyone is on the hunt for that perfect pumpkin during the fall.  A great craft to add to your event is pumpkin decorating!  This can still be a safe activity by giving each participant their own sanitized brush, sticker sheet, and full plate of paint to decorate their pumpkin.  Make sure to keep disinfectant spray nearby to clean the table between each guest.

Games:

Carnival games add a nostalgic element while sport games bring out the fun and competitive side of your guests.  Add a disinfectant spray bottle to each game to quickly clean the touched items before the next person steps up to the challenge!  Also, single-use large attractions are a quick way to limit the amount of guests.  Here are some options: S.A.F.E.
